Ok. I should stop crapping and let's start this serious yet fun and awaiting post...
Peeps, i am planning for an extremely short trip ( 2 days 1 night ) ... so please voice out your opinions...
Venue : 1) Genting 2) Melacca
(First of all, i choose genting or melacca is because both of it are very near to us ... no need long hours drive.. we have no time for that :P I preferred Genting cause we no need to drive ... we can take the Genting bus from somewhere in the town .. no worries ... less budget ... what we need to do is just gather at a point and get ticket ... )
Date : somewhere in July ( Our busy Miss Ong Kah Yee requested this, her June timetable is FULL )
I know some of you need to work during Saturday. So Carlyn is available on the following saturday : 3/7, 17/7 and 31/7. Please vote !!

erm.. so far 3/7 and 17/7 im ok with it.. its better to be 3/7 if not then aug dy.. coz 17/7 and 31/7 too near each other, so its like 2 weekends i went kl, my parents sure kill me.. :p sorry ya so mafan.. lol..
conclusion is, i really wish to join this trip, 3/7 shud be fine for me, but if is 17/7, i cant promise. :)
so now 3/7 is our 1st priority 1st :)

Whenever I go genting, I will buy this ticket(RM 41.00), even I'm driving there, I will also buy this tickets. Reasons?
1. The buffet is very very worth it. Somemore you know so hard to find food in Genting, all expensive.
2. I normally dun drive up hill so I take skyway.This package already include skyway ticket, no need to q for ticket purchasing.
3. They do include a lot of others vouchers such as bowling la this la that la a lot la...
4. Even the bus if full they still sell this package. Even I din take the bus I still buy this package cause it's worth lo.
Okla, basically just share this coz it seriously worth it.

I can help to get ticket first you all want to depart from 1U. Pass by the counter every working day. The carpark is called dataran car park. RM 1 per entry, but is not a covered parking.

then for sunday, the latest bus that i will take to back sg is 6.45pm, so it means i need to get back to 1u before 6.45pm. so u guys plan lar.. if is not ok, then let me know. :)

ReplyDeleteok,frm the website,we can see that the departing time frm 1U is ... 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2pm ... (got a lot shutter bus, earliest depart at 8am, latest is at 7pm).

Sorry everyone for the late reply. was really busy with my work and car problem. I've called the resort and the room we stayed last time is only available for genting membership. anyone of you have this? if not, i think we need to think for another alternative way... Suggest suggest !! I checked the rwgenting.com. No booking for first world hotel on the day we go...mayb we need to go for other hotels...

story goes like this:
cj ask wanna book 2 room or 1 room? but she knw if book 2 room oso we finally end up overnite in 1 room talking chitchatting. but if 1 room, she worry we all can't get comfortable sempit sempit like that.
then my opinion goes like this,i said fan zhen oso go there 1 nite only,sempit ma sempit 1 nite lo,nonid to waste the extra money for extra room XD so we come up with the decision to book 1 room . ok la ya~ XD
then JoJo, i think no one else who stay in subang with car de liao ba,except me :P i can fetch u go,but which bus station ha? i wanna knw 1st~~ :)

guys, I forget to let you know, the rm41, shutter bus is on the same day. If you using the 3/7 ticket up u gotta come back the sameday, cannot carry forward next day. CJ kindly confirm with them before you purchase. Else we all end up tersekat at genting cannot come back!

ReplyDeleteI ok with everything. But since now not everyone is commenting here, maybe it is safer that we just buy the bus ticket first. The buffet i tried before, not really that great, but came in variety type of food. So depend on you guys. Cos our group is so famous with sudden plan... i just worry that unexpected incident happened and conflicts occurred or the money is wasted. FYI, The one way fare is RM9.60/adult inclusive of Skyway Transfer to Genting Highlands, means for return fee is RM19.20. Ppl still can go for cheap food or whatsoever ( for those who want to cut budget.) And also in case somebody suddenly pull out, she no need to cover back the money so much. It's my opinion. :P

ReplyDeleteI have some suggestion. In that case why not we just drive two cars there? Park at skyway, take cable car to the top. No need to worry bus run away, and then we have around 8 people already, 9.60 x 8 = is more than enough to pay petrol n toll for two cars.
Since that dun need to buy the RM41 package already la. We are so flex in that case. Just save the RM41 for makan and skyway.
well...honestly when u say drive there by ourselves...my 1st thought is >> so tiring~!! then...jz now cj got left carlyn offline msg oso..she read ur comment ady,she think that it's kinda dangerous if we drive back frm genting in the "tiring" condition...and it will be more fun la,if we all sit in bus together :) bout carlyn leh,she don even wanna drive to 1U,lol,she now figuring out wanna naik public transport to kelana jaya LRT,i go there pick her up. =_= so, the rest who got car 1, only left u(Elyn), and suki nia...i think we don drive there la, unless u both really really insist wana drive there...XD lol

And i miss the moment when we were like the school kids, taking bus to go travel together! :P Other than that, i believe that we will crap a lot during the ONLY night until we have not enough sleep... so for safety purposes, i think we shouldn't take the risk of drive back (althought i know a lot of potential drivers in our group )...
