A vacation to Cameron Highland

The yard of the villa

Hi girls, I guess is time for another vacation to escape from the busy and stressful environment since after the PD trip. This time, I suggested to go Cameron Highlands. It will be a short vacation ( 2 days 1 night) and a very cheap one. So don't have to think much coz you don't have to save money and apply leave.

The accommodation we don't have to worry already, as it will be the bintang falim villa which consist of 5 rooms and a huge yard where we can have barbeque there. It will be only 50 bucks per night if yuk meng is going along with us.
The barbeque we also don't have to worry about preparing food as there will be a care taker there to prepare everything for us. What we need to do is just think of what you want to eat, then everything will be prepared, and you just pay for the food and some tips for the care taker.

The itinerary will be roughly as following :
Sartuday
7am - departure
10:30am- arrival and settle down. rest.
12:00pm -lunch. We can go to eat steamboat/let the care taker prepare
1:00pm - go visit farm or just walk down to the famous smoke house chalet ( can take alot of nice pic)
3:00pm - tea (prepare by care taker)
4:00pm - free time/ can go visit any place if u girls want
7:00pm - barbeque + chatting+ drinking+ free and easy

Sunday
9:00am- breakfast
12:00pm- lunch + back home.

I propose a few dates for you girls which will be :(all is saturday and sunday )
1)19-20th March
2)9th-10th April
3)29th-30th April
4)14th - 15th May

Please choose a date and confirm your attendance as the villa is also need to be booked in order to avoid clash with other people.

Hello gals, after our PD trips, u all oso got keep thinking bout where to go for our next trip rite?

Well, I have a plan, but this kinda "advanced" planning la.

I was thinking, should we organize a trip to climb Mount. KK ?? in the same time, we can go visit Sabah other places oso la...XD

I know maybe this is a bit sudden, but, bcoz of what i heard from my colleague, he said he climbed 3 times ady mount kk, when he was 24, 26, and 28. And everytimes he went, the trip is getting harder ady, he said maybe coz getting older ady..=_= lol so for us, better go when we're still young, if not, when we're older, the trip will be harder for us ady :)

My suggestion period for this, maybe next year June?? So, while in the mean time, we can train ourselves 1st lo. This will be kinda adventures trip for us as well :DD I think this will surely be a very memorable experience for us.

Dear all, yesterday me, cJ and Carlyn met up and got to discuss bout our trip's arrangement. This might be a bit long since we're not discussing together face-to-face, but someone gotta do this, if not last minute arrangement we all will be xxxx u know what i mean. XD

Ok it goes like this :

We got 10 gals, who are:

Ok, as you all can see, there's are car "A" & car "B" . ChunJun's car is car "A". Suki's car is car "B". (We assume Suki will drive la)

For car "A" : (since we met up ytday,so we discussed among ourselves ady)
>> Iris might wanna go overnite at carlyn's house on 24/9(Fri) nite. So that the next day, carlyn+iris will drive to chunjun house. 3 of them will drive to subang, meet up with yulin (while waiting for stella to finish her work) we might wanna go buy some foods 1st at pyramid / carrefour. Then, when stella finished work, we will depart to PD.

For car "B" : (well we duno what's the best arrangement for u gals, nor ur availabilities)
We can start check-in from 3pm. Suki's car might wana depart earlier (than car "A"). Kahyee and Wee, maybe u gals can ask ur family/friend to drop you somewhere that is easier for Suki to fetch you gals? (just a suggestion, see what's best for you gals and Suki) Elyn might wana drive to suki's place or how? for ah gan gan, suki most probably have to go to her place to fetch her up? We duno, so it's best for 5 of you to contact and discuss bout this ya :) the trip is next week

Part two >> FOODs~!!

The foods that we all have to prepare includes:
Sat : Tea Time, Dinner , and Supper
Sun : Breakfast perhaps? (if we can wake up) , and for the lunch, we will eat around PD after we check out.

So, we did a small listing la~ XD hahaha..

For Oven food we think of Frozen Pizza...Salad (home-made) then bring over there...et

For Snack, we think of biscuits, Instant noodles (korean mee-carlyn said she can provide this (if the supermarket near her place got stock), Cakes or Bakery Bread....etc etc and most important is must bring your own DRINKING WATER~!! *sounds like we're going to a camping =_=* lol

remarks: KahYee, help tabao Bakuteh plz~~! XD we bring there, can use Oven to heat up oso~~ XD LOL *just joking la ya*

It is time for our 2nd trip, everyone agree?

Where to go this time? hehehe .... i have gone through a simple research and the suggestion will be as below:

The Legend International Water Homes, Port Dickson

( i know port dickson beach is kinda dirty and "nasty" but this room got private pool, we can just enjoy ourselves in our PRIVATE pool. )

Description of the room :

- Size of units - upper 897 & lower 874 square feet

- Number of units - upper 16 & lower 15

- 2 KING SIZE beds (Better than Genting Trip Wei !! squeezed like ... )

- PRIVATE swimming pool with garden ( I LOVE THIS!!)

- Dry Kitchenette

- Separate bath and toilet

- Rain shower

- Wall mounted hairdryer

- Mini fridge

- In-room safe box

- Astro - 12 channels

- 32" LCD flat screen TV

- Coffee and tea making facilities

- Electric kettle

- IDD telephone

- Ceiling mounted air-conditioner

- Ceiling fan

- DVD player ( we can watch porn together, perhap? hiak hiak hiak )

- Microwave oven ( We can prepare our budget dinner, the fun and laughter sure will be there waiting for us)

- Bathroom weighing scale

- Umbrella ( i personally dont know what is that umbrella :P )

OKAY !! back to the reality.

The price is not cheap as well, but not so expensive.

RM 450 for this type of room, plus tax is around RM 517.50. And the distance is about 82.7 km which we need about 1.5 hours to be there ( according to mr google map and from sri petaling, cos can access through maju-putrajaya highway, we can either gather at kl, sri petaling, or cyberjaya? ... hahaha breakfast at HB3 - breakfast set? )

We need 2 cars and i roughly estimated the petrol + tol fee is RM 150 per car. so room payment+petrol and tol = 520 + (2x150) = 820.

If we can gather 10 ppl going, so 820 / 10 is RM 82 each.

and for food, i believe that everyone bring ONE food is enough. I can sponsor 1 pack of indo mee, 1 pack of korea spicy mee (kahyee will like this cos she don't has chance to makan instant noodle at home). Oven food is not expensive i guess. sausage nugget fries... can get from anywhere.

So budget is around RM 100 per person. Other expenses like lunch for 2 days and if u r those ppl who will buy souvenir ( but i dont think we have friend like this. or suki maybe want to buy a postcard for bf kirim to hk telling him that we are having fun there. ) so other than accommodation, transportation and dinner, other expenses will be going dutch la... ok?

i personally think this is a good place for gathering. We can just hide in the room for the 24 hours, preparing food, help to bath each other in the private pool, chit chat, and enjoying the comfortable environment. No need to travel around, can skip all the waiting time for each other.

Genting Trip Update

Must Watch: Entire Oscar Winning Animated Short Logorama

Hello, just to share something .. :P

Has you guy watch this ? Animated short film : LOGORAMA. ( Maybe i am outdated, i just watched it... ) Creative Wei....

Synopsis:

One of the big surprise winners at the Oscars this year was the animated short film Logorama. However, it won for good reason, because it's a dark and awesome short film. The entire short (all 16 minutes) has made its way onto Vimeo and can be seen below. This isn't a leak or a bootleg or anything like that, this is the fully watchable version of the short. Here's the concept (and also why it's so damn brilliant): the entire world and everything we see in it is made out of corporate logos and brands. The story follows two Michelin tire guys (as cops) who chase a terrorist Ronald McDonald.

Logorama is a short film that was directed by the French animation collective H5: François Alaux, Hervé de Crécy and Ludovic Houplain. Is anyone else surprised that this was directed by three French filmmakers and not Americans influenced by all this pop culture? It was presented at Cannes in 2009 and opened the 2010 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year (which is where most people first saw it). I didn't get the chance to see it until recently, but I loved it as much as everyone else, which is exactly why I'm featuring it here today. Besides the two opening and closing songs (Dean Martin's "Good Morning Life" and The Ink Spots' "I Don't Want to Set the World On Fire"), all other music and sound design is fully original. What did you think?

I received this email from my KT fren (Loh Wei Nee), i duno how real is this, but since some of us always travel using LDP , better prevent 1st then later "kena", so i jz share out here la ya ~ below are the email content :

CCTV in LDP - EFFECTIVE 15th MARCH 2010

Hi All,

Please note that the LDP highway speed limit will be monitored by the CCTV.
The speed limit is 90 kmh and if you go above that at 91 kmh, the camera will auto record and pass it to the police. The few identified areas where the CCTV is monitoring are as follows:

1) on the overhead pedestrian bridge in front of Kelana Jaya LRTstation, monitoring the straight stretch

2) Somewhere near Western Digital (CCTV might be on Western Digital), monitoring the straight stretch in front of the Kelana Jaya Seafood

3) On IKEA, Monitoring straight stretch in front of IKEA and 1 Utama

4) On the double overhead bridge, monitoring the stretch between the Puchong toll and the Federal Highway turnoff.

5) In the tunnel near SS2 (please note that the speed limit is 60kmh, (not 90 kmh)
